The Organisation:
Digital Careers, part of the Digital Recruitment Company is currently working with an international fintech high-growth business. This company have created an innovative app that helps kids learn to manage money in a digital and cashless world, and you would be joining their fast-growing team. Their clients product teams turn their vision into reality. Each product team is responsible for
executing a strategy which is core to that vision, from growth, through financial pillars, financial literacy, family network, payments and more. Product teams are cross-functional, with their own design and tech resources, so each team can work as a mini-start up to independently execute and measure the success of their strategy.
The Role:
As Product Manager, you’ll own the delivery of the backlog and be responsible for your team to ensure high-quality, high-cadence releases. You’ll report to the Senior Product Manager and work closely to develop the roadmap and drive uptake of and engagement with your suite of products.
We are looking for a highly collaborative Product Manager who has an eye for detail and can work comfortably with internal and external stakeholders. If that’s you, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Customer insight & evangelist- Develop a deep understanding of our customers’ needs through customer insight, market research and product analytics
- Be clear on which customer insights will help achieve the Family Finance objectives
- Work with the Research team to gain a first hand understanding of our customers
- Be a voice of the customer within the business
- Strive every day to ensure the product is more loved by customers than it was the day before
Product roadmap- Manage the Product Backlog for Family Finance; work closely with the Sr. Product Manager and other key stakeholders to develop the roadmap
- Conceive of, create and deliver exceptional ideas and solutions
- Communicate and present the roadmap and achievements to a range of senior stakeholders
Implementation- Create minimum viable features quickly and then test and iterate towards the optimum solution, ensuring that regulatory and operational requirements are met
- Manage the lifecycle of feature delivery
- Work with product designers to deliver an amazing customer experience
- Create and document user stories and detailed functional specifications for rapid development
- Work closely with developers and QA to drive high-quality delivery of the product
- Perform user acceptance testing of new features
- Continuously improve the delivery processes and tools/techniques used
Roll-out- Work closely with the Marketing and CRM teams to create launch and ongoing marketing plans
- Continually iterate, testing customer comms, notifications and outreach to drive adoption
Measurement & continuous improvement- Define OKRs and success metrics, track progress and measure impact
- Experiment continuously and improve measurable growth
- Tune the Family Finance roadmap based on meaningful analysis of what is happening
- Consistently evaluate our capabilities and approach against industry-leading standards
Experience:- + years’ experience in a Product role
- Experience in delivering the full product cycle - taking a product feature from a concept to a released feature.
- Experience using a variety of modern product management tools, practices and methodologies to structure product delivery and ensure team alignment.
- Motivated self-starter who takes full ownership of and pride in their work
- Results-oriented, with a strong sense of purpose and high integrity
- Used to working successfully under tight project deadlines
- Evidence of high-quality data-driven decision-making, with experience shaping improvements to product and funnel performance at a rapid pace
- Hugely customer-focused with a passion for great customer journeys
- Good leadership, internal collaboration, project management and communication skills
- Strong team player, ability to work in cross-functional teams with marketing, design, engineering, operations and partners, as well as across different time zones and geographies
- Desirable: working knowledge of ISAs and mainstream investment products (e.g. equities, ETFs, mutual funds)
