ROLE:
Our client is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to help solidify its leadership position in the Telecom space. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will directly impact our company’s success by developing and executing product marketing strategy, collaborating with partners, customers, your product dev peer and ultimately shaping successful product launches.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define messaging, positioning and value proposition for our clients Telco solutions to the global telecom market.
- Inform the product road map with product team and stakeholder input.
- Coordinate product, sales, and other marketing teams to accelerate Go-to-Market.
- Understand the customer needs and improve our messaging, and communication.
- Prioritize new features with input from stakeholders using prioritization framework.
- Know how our solutions can be bundled together, using a holistic approach.
- Be an internal and external Telco solutions evangelist.
- Understand the fundamentals and limitations of the technology being applied.
- Manage the release communication around our new products and features for the Telco audience.
- Report progress, risks, and opportunities up to Senior Management Team.
- Work with our sales enablement team in ensuring our direct and indirect sales team have the best tools to drive financial success.
- Conduct competitor analysis, define trends on the market and act as a conduit for voice of the customer.
- Work with broader teams to build a thought leadership position for our client.
KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Preferable experience in the Telco industry, working either at Telecom or at Telecom solution vendor.
- Understands stakeholders inside the Telecom organization (tech, security, commercial, legal, product etc.)
- Understands the Telco industry eco-system: regulatory, competitors, vendors, MNO groups, GSMA/MEF etc.
- 5+ years of Product Marketing experience in B2B – ideally in the telecom space
- Experience in defining the product and positioning strategy for a B2B technology product
- Experience in defining and executing G2M plans targeting large enterprise customers – preferably large telcos and/or technology companies – through both direct and indirect sales channels
- Understands telecom as a buyer, understands where telecom buyers of messaging solutions research and inform themselves on purchase decisions
- Familiar with account-based marketing approach towards large tech companies
- Can articulate the value of technology solutions to tech buyers – through thought leadership, customer-facing content, speaking events
- Can act as an internal advocate for the strategically important telecom vertical – sharing customer knowledge, challenges, goals to keep our solutions and way of work customer-centric
- Strategic thinker who can contribute to setting a vision for the future of the telco secure messaging industry to position our client as thought leaders
