The Organisation:

Digital Careers, part of the Digital Recruitment Company is currently working with one of the top creative agencies in the UK having globally been voted agency of the year in a number of marketing magazines plus been ranked in the top 10 agencies in the UK.

The Role:

They are looking for a Creative Artworker to be based at their client in Reading. The client is a global FMCG corporation with a number of high profile brands to their name.

Key responsibilities

  • Demonstrate creative flair whilst working within brand guidelines
  • Creating artwork for on and offline communications, including POS, brochures, leaflets, ads, emails, web banners and large format, following brand guidelines and design concepts
  • Take personal responsibility for the quality, consistency and presentation of artwork
  • Be a great team player and have good communication skills
  • Maintain internal processes and look for ways to improve them
  • Take responsibility for professional development and knowledge of latest software
  • Work proactively under own initiative and as part of the design team
  • Proactively monitor artwork quality, accuracy and consistency
  • Complete timesheets

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent artworking skills (layout, creativity, attention to detail and methodical)
  • Experience working with cutter guides and strict print guidelines
  • Experience artworking across POS, in-store and shopper marketing campaign collateral
  • Ability to adhere to brand guidelines and provide consistent artwork quality
  • Experience in management of artwork collateral
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Quick but accurate working method
  • Excellent Adobe CS skills; Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign; and PPT preferable but not mandatory
  • Experience of completing timesheets
