Digital Careers, part of the Digital Recruitment Company is currently working with a global technology distributor in solutions across security, networking and data. They are a company that is transforming technology and its supply chain through cloud, services and global deployment.

The Role:

The role of the Content Writer is to support the EMEA marketing team in delivering and executing content strategy. You will contribute to the content strategy and be responsible for the creation, curation and overall  management of the content marketing plan. Content and Copywriting will be across multiple digital channels including email, web and social media. You will also help shape the way content is delivered by the organisation and work with multiple stakeholders across the business.

The responsibilities of the role:

  • Development of content strategy in line with business strategy
  • Writing, editing and repurposing content
  • Creation of content which helps position the business as a thought leader and reinforces our position in the marketplace
  • Copywriting for range of digital marketing channels
  • Campaigns – copy for emarketing campaigns through our marketing automation platform Pardot
  • Video – storyboarding and scriptwriting for video and animations
  • Web – copywriting for web and landing pages and ensure consistency of written content across EMEA websites
  • SEO – knowledge of SEO and work with wider team to ensure content is SEO friendly and contribute ideas to optimise content on websites
  • Data – use data to understand customer behaviour and map and develop content accordingly
  • Social Media – contribute to the plan and development of content for social media channels and campaigns
  • PR – working with PR agencies and internal stakeholders
  • Support and contribute to the ongoing development of our digital marketing strategy

Experience and skills:

  • Advanced copywriting skills with excellent grasp of English grammar, native English speaker
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of copywriting in technology sector desirable
  • B2B experience essential
  • Ability to translate complex messages into clear and compelling stories and copy
  • Experience of creating copy across range of digital marketing channels
  • Knowledge of best practice in technology and marketing trends and ability to write interesting copy in line with these
  • Data driven approach to develop and act on customer insights
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with diverse projects – able to prioritise
  • Confident in communicating with various stakeholders of all seniority levels including C-Level
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Can work independently but also as part of a team
  • Self-motivated, determined and adaptable
