The Organisation:
Digital Careers, part of the Digital Recruitment Company is currently working with a global investment management organisation who have operations in 20 countries and manage £1Trillion worth of assets for clients. They have over 7,000 employees and are looking to grow the digital distribution which has brought CRM, marketing and tech together.
The Role:
Joining a newly created digital team consisting of 40 hand-picked individuals from Digital Marketing, Technology and the CRM function. Main responsibilities will be to; generate leads from existing or new clients, get people to invest into the clients funds digitally by using technologies such as web-chat and to use digital to give clients and visitors a better, faster and more accessible service. |
The responsibilities of the role:
· Communicate with the product marketers, fund managers and investment writers to translate information into social media content for distribution through Social Media and other online channels · Use Social Media platforms to launch and target content marketing campaigns · You will execute the distribution of the content using Social Media and other platforms, therefore it is important you have experience of these platforms – LinkedIn · Helping the inbound team produce content for PPC, banner adverts or articles for blogs ect… · Meet a weekly target for curation of articles · Generating leads from existing or new clients · Generating sales online · Doing things quickly (speed-to-market) · Act as a champion to promote our mind-set which is: · Being positive · Fostering positive change · Being different from financial services · Can do attitude
Experience and skills: · Experience using, creating content for and distributing content across social media platforms including LinkedIn · Experience working for a large news or content company · Used to working under pressure · Able to deliver content to a B2B professional audience · You will be a total financial content curation expert and have demonstrable experience of writing and curating content to fit multiple web formats for example: o PPC adverts o Web pages o Campaign landing pages o Social media platforms (LinkedIn and Twitter) o Email campaign (writing in the templates) · You will have worked with multiple web formats such as the following: o Textual articles and content o Video o Infographics o And anything new you can bring to the table · Demonstrable experience taking complex, internal only content from the product marketing team and chopping it down into formats anyone can understand (from private to professional investors) · You will be able to demonstrate how you have used online metrics to help you assess engagement on the content you curate · You should be able to understand the theory of inbound marketing and how content is the fuel that keeps the machine running to generate traffic and leads
